We were thrilled that Mike,Cheryl and children were visiting us as part of there family vacation. We are the main attraction, but we planned other activities also. The first day they arrived in Mesa, they settled in at their hotel and we all met at OutBack for dinner. We had a pleasant dinner. Melissa and their 3 daughters ate with us. The next morning Jerolyn, Melissa and I picked them up at the hotel and went to the Phoenix Zoo. It was an excellent day, since the tempurature was still relatively cool. The monkeys and orangatang were the most popular. Although there were many other fun displays like the young otters.
The rest of their stay we enjoyed time in the backyard, swimming in the pool and cooking on the grill. Oh and on a very hot day we enjoyed a movie at the theatre. (Emma Smith story) It was a pleasure to have our friends visit. View more pictures by clicking the photo album below.
