We enjoyed a visit from Kyle and Alli while flights were cheap and between the school break. They came on Friday, May 2nd. We stayed up talking till late! Unfortunately in Arizona the sun comes up early, making it hard to sleep any longer. Alli can witness that one! You become a morning person without any choice! You gotta love it!
Saturday was filled with work and play. In preparation for sod, Kyle and Bruce worked on the sprinkler system and leveling the dirt, while Melissa, Alli, and I attacked the boxes in the garage left from our move. It was great motivation to have others helping me throw things away that I haven't used in so long....especially old college books. WHEW! YEAH for being out of my hair! Yes Alli....I have sanity again! I continue to sort and dejunk!
That afternoon we went to Wrigley mansion, one of the five homes of the Wrigley's Mansion(the family that owns the chewing gum corporation). We ate dinner in Phoenix, at P.F. Changs, LOVE IT!
The evening was spent at Nathan & Melissa Sharp's open house in their parents backyard. Yummy refreshments...and we were even told to take some home, so of course, we did!

Sunday was a day of rest, thank goodness!
Monday we did errands and landscape planning. Made homemade rasberry ice cream!! YUMMY-it's the BEST!
Tuesday, we picked oranges, laid sod, thanks to Kyle and Alli (because bruce was WHINING about his sore ribs). lol(Good thing we had GREAT Helpers!) Went to Phoenix Zoo for a couple hours. We got a year pass so we could go again! That evening we had a BBQ (Shishkabobs) with Mark & Andrea Ipson and boys. (Michael & Christopher) It was fun to see them. They live in Sun City, Az. An hour away.
It was fun to have Kyle and Alli home visiting again! You're always welcome, and thanks again for your hard work!
